DescriptionRemX is hiring for a Benefits Administrator in the Alpharetta area. The position is in office with one day remote once trained. Preferred hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm or 8am to 5pm PM, Monday – Friday. Pay rate: $24-$28 Ideally Looking For Candidate WITH
Understanding of benefit compliance and regulations
Position OverviewThe Benefits Administrator will administer company benefits and provide customer service to employees as needed. Broad benefits experience is required including retirement. Key Factors For Success
Participate in the administration of all benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.
Process new hires and ensure new hire communications are updated
Maintain vendor file feeds and coordinate with vendors on requirements and changes to all data transfers
Participate in the management of the annual enrollment process and develop communications with stakeholders
Works with external auditors and other vendors to verify employee data when requested and for all annual compliance requests.
Maintain employee benefit files
Knowledge of COBRA laws and maintain records as it related to COBRA eligibility and compliance, initial rights, etc.
Maintains records and performs a variety of other related administrative, accounting, reporting, data processing and other recordkeeping duties
Skills We Are Seeking
Associate degree or Bachelor degree preferred
Relevant experience with Benefits Administration
Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience with Excel and be comfortable with managing excel generated reports
Knowledgeable of all Health and Welfare plans and voluntary programs
HRIS experience preferred
Effective communication skills and strong presentation skills; demonstrated ability to effectively deliver informative and engaging presentations
Strong attention to detail
Understands and applies complex information and data from various sources to meet objectives
Manages multiple assignments, sets priorities, and adapts to changing conditions and work assignments
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
