RemX is pleased to assist a client in its hire for a DIRECTOR, COMMERCIAL FINANCE professional at is Pittsburgh, PA location.

This is a highly visible, onsite (4 in/1 remote) role reporting to the VP Finance and having frequent interaction with the CEO and CFO. This role will blend analytical ability, intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking for the company. Strong and effective communication skills will be a must for success. Exposure to the PE firm as well in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a desire to use his/her analytical finance skills to help the company drive profitable growth measures by partnering with their commercial & business unit leadership.

IDEAL PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance from accredited university
• MBA from a Top 30 US program desired
• 10 years corporate finance with at least 3 in manufacturing (must have some manufacturing to be considered) from a Fortunate 500 company (preferred)
• Experience in consulting, strategy or corporate FP&A preferred
• Top skills in Excel and PowerPoint

This person will work closely with project management & planning areas to:

• coordinate their commercial contract pipeline and vetting process.
• work with sales and negotiate with customers.
• develop financial models to assess price & cost structure
• prepare decks for BOD meetings
• develop next year's plan/budget for FY2025
