Job Description: Litigation Paralegal

Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience

Overview:

RemX is assisting our client, with a search for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their boutique general litigation plaintiffs firm in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting attorneys in various litigation matters, possess excellent writing skills, and demonstrate proficiency in calendaring and discovery drafting. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with 2-3 attorneys, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities.
• Manage and maintain attorney calendars, coordinating deadlines and court dates effectively.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings under attorney supervision.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
• Organize and maintain case files and documents, both electronically and in hard copy.
• Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed.
• Prepare exhibits, deposition summaries, and trial binders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
• 3 years' Paralegal experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of producing high-quality work product independently.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania court rules and procedures is a plus.
