Financial Analyst
Type: Direct Hire (in office with some flexibility as needed)
Pay: Up to $109K plus bonus DOE, full benefits
Location: Lexington, KY (relocation package provided)
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a leading global manufacturer and retailer of bedding products, we are dedicated to improving the sleep of people worldwide. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget, utilizing a "bottom-up" approach.
- Conduct detailed analyses of key performance indicators to monitor the company's financial health and identify trends.
- Generate ad hoc reports to evaluate business trends and compare actual results with forecast and budget.
- Evaluate daily and weekly metrics to ensure favorable outcomes by month-end.
- Proactively develop projects to improve forecast accuracy, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance efficiency.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of planning processes, including reporting and explaining variances.
- Prepare management reporting packages on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage expenses and achieve financial targets.
- Identify trends in product, market segments, and key customers to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Drive action by improving standard reporting methods as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of financial statements, including the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows and FP&A understanding(high level)
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI is desirable.
