RemX is currently hiring for a Medical Records Clerk/ Health information specialist position in the Evansville, IN area!
Onsite: Evansville, IN 47714
Pay: $16.00/ Hr - weekly pay Benefits offered!!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm
Employment Type: Temporary- Through February 2025
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for processing all release of information requests in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and providing customers with the highest quality product and customer service.Calling physicians offices to obtain DOS, scanning request into EMR and HS. Sorting and filing
associate must always protect the patient’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous Medical record experience is a MUST
- HS diploma/ GED verification - REQUIRED
