We are involved in more than 50 M&A assignments each year across the industry for leading financial sponsors and corporate clients. This includes on the “front-end” of engaging to construct an M&A-driven value creation strategy and proactively bringing thoughtful ideas to clients, to the “back-end” of evaluating a specific target as part of our diligence and financial advisory services, to formulating an ongoing growth strategy post-close.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an accomplished professional to be focused on M&A buy-side origination, diligence and execution for leading corporations and financial sponsors. A competitive candidate will possess:
- Deep knowledge and experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector including an understanding of platforms, programs and technologies
- Strong experience in execution and diligence across the M&A lifecycle - corporate development, investment banking, or private equity backgrounds preferred
- Combination of public and private company evaluation skillsets
- High proficiency in managing teams in financial analysis and buyside M&A evaluation
- Strong client presence and delivery skills; sector relationships a plus but significant potential to manage existing clients while becoming a business developer over time
Required qualifications
- 7-10 years of investment banking, corporate development, and/or M&A diligence expertise
- Deep experience within the Aerospace and Defense sector
- Excellent academics at a B.A. / S. or higher qualification level; MBA a plus
