Renata Regional Account Manager

Renata Medical’s Mission: At Renata Medical, we are committed to and focused on innovating meaningful devices to assist congenital heart disease patients and their family’s ability to thrive to their fullest potential. We engineer and develop specialized congenital heart disease (CHD) devices that aim to optimize and reimagine percutaneous patient care, providing pediatric interventional cardiologists solutions for less invasive options and procedures.

Position Scope:

Geography: Specifically, the multi state region territory assigned in the USA

Supporting: Growth of US commercial sales, with educational and case support activities

Responsibilities: Develop and grow commercial sales in assigned territory

Reporting to: Global Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Education

The company has completed its pivotal trial, and it is in a pre-commercialization “startup” phase. The Regional Account Manager will work with marketing, market development and training cross functional teams as we grow and expand in the USA market.

3 openings – preferred city locations:

Remote, based in a large territory and must be currently authorized to work in the USA

· Los Angeles/Orange County, California or Dallas/Houston Texas

· Manhattan area, New York or Cincinnati, Ohio

· Orlando/Miami, Florida (will consider other Florida cities)

Travel Expectations:

Estimated travel >60% of the time and is highly variable based on the employee’s residence and assigned territory.

Position Responsibilities:

This position will have a quota and sales growth responsibilities for Minima and our future product portfolio. It is expected that the sales professional remains patient centric focused while demonstrating high performing sales activities. The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for leading key sales process initiatives in their territory and will provide thoughtful field insights and recommendations for shaping our market. We are looking for a seasoned medical device sales professional that has documented past interventional cardiology sales success as a top performer that will grow with the organization. This individual contributor should demonstrate the ability to be

influential with our value proposition and negotiations while consultative selling and has business acumen that will drive results. In addition to business acumen, it is critical the candidate has experience with supporting interventional cardiology procedures and demonstrates competency with clinical acumen to be a trusted partner as we build the business.

This position will develop and support the following commercial development initiatives:

Sales process:

· Meet/exceed business and sales plan performance objectives

· Analyze territory opportunities and threats and reduce barriers for product adoption

· Create and execute a quarterly business plan to thoughtfully grow market share

· Demonstrate to hospital stakeholders our value proposition

· Support customer reimbursement inquiries

· Manage hospital pricing, contracting and VAC committee vendor approval process

· Demonstrate product & clinical evidence knowledge

· Lead completion of new implanter/hospital heart team on-site training

· Provide case support excellence in clinical procedures with various CHD etiologies

Customer/KOL Engagement:

· Develop & execute on customer/KOL engagement plans

· Host speaker’s bureau education programs within territory

· Provide supplemental medical education and in services as needed

Patient/Parent Therapy Awareness:

· Support patient/parent education awareness initiatives

Administrative/Other:

· Complete onboarding, new hire and annual training requirements successfully

· Complete & maintain hospital vendor credentialing requirements

· Accurately forecast sales projections and sales opportunity pipeline

· Input & maintain customer database in company CRM system

· Support training initiatives with content development, or as a SME as requested

· Attend conferences, participate in booth duty, sessions & customer engagement

· Support quality initiatives and device analysis/investigation reviews upon request

· Manage company “in field” product inventory

· Coordinates and manages their own travel arrangements

· Adherence to business compliance and conduct standards

· Manage expense budget and submit timely expense reports

Experience Required:

· Bachelor’s degree

· 5 years of medical device sales experience in the interventional cardiology industry

· 5 years of proven successful medical device sales experience/performance

· Interventional cardiology/endovascular industry case support experience

· Competency with imaging modalities; fluoroscopy, angiography & echo

· Ability to travel

· Ability to wear a lead apron 2-3 hours at a time for radiation exposure

· Ability to use Microsoft suite and have computer skills

· Successful completion of all vendor credentialing requirements
