Job Description

Our Systems & Solutions Team (SST) is looking for a talented Electrical Engineering/Computer Science student to join our team this Summer as a Product Marketing Engineer Intern. Our team works on Renesas’ Winning Combinations, Proof-of-Concept boards, Lab on the Cloud, and other embedded solutions to help accelerate customer’s design cycles. The successful candidate will work directly with the SST Global Marketing Team, and cross-functionally with our Business Development and architects during their internship. An intern working with the team can expect to learn how to drive solution-based marketing, engage engineering and sales team to bring a solution to the mass market, and how to work cross-functionally with global groups to achieve a common goal during their time with our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop marketing collateral for embedded solutions including – Solution 1-pagers, feature/benefit messaging, technical blogs, videos, training webinars, etc.
• Complete competitive analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve our user experience
• Promote marketing collateral internally and on Renesas.com
• Support promotional activities including demos, hack-a-thons, or other initiatives to evangelize Renesas’ embedded solutions
• Focus on Hardware Solutions

Qualifications

• Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field of study
• Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams
• Passion for solving customer problems and self-drive to learn new skills
