Renew Medical Center is Hiring an Aesthetic Medical Assistant/Receptionist Near Newport, CA

THIS JOB POSTING IS FOR 2 OFFICE LOCATIONS: NEWPORT BEACH AND FULLERTON. We are hiring for our Newport Beach office but you must be willing to occasionally work at the Fullerton location when scheduled.

We are looking for a medical assistant with a passion for the aesthetic industry to manage our front desk. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company and a representation of our company values.

Our receptionist’s duties include: greeting clients upon arrival, answering calls, messages and emails, scheduling appointments for various treatments, providers and locations, maintaining cleanliness of the office, assisting with inventory and stock, and scribing for the physician.

You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the clinic. You will coordinate front-desk activities, which include all the tasks for the day and week. We are looking for a receptionist with a pleasant personality and someone that is a team player. Ultimately, a receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls and emails
  • Ensure the office is tidy and presentable
  • Provide callers and clients with accurate and detailed information regarding services, products and treatments via in-person, phone or email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Keep the schedule updated accurately
  • Scribing for the physician
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or customers that require attention
  • Oversee social media accounts
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying and transcribing

Skills

  • Required: MINIMUM 1 year experience as a medical assistant, work experience as a receptionist or appointment scheduling, front office representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. computer, phones and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage stress
  • Pleasant customer service attitude
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • High school degree required; additional college courses/Associates preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
