POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Property Manager is primarily responsible for supporting Property Manager in all aspects of community operations, including sales, leasing, rent collection, customer service, maintenance and miscellaneous administrative tasks, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Showing and leasing apartments to prospective residents
- Assist prospective residents with apartment selection and application process
- Execute leases with new and returning residents to ensure all parties understand the terms of the contract
- Collect delinquent rents by strictly adhering to our collection protocol, as well as preparing and delivering notices as required
- Communicate well with existing residents regarding maintenance needs
- Great time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Strong customer service skills such as lead follow up within the timeframe required by company standards, as well as returning calls
and emails promptly. - Perform Service Request call backs to ensure our maintenance team delivered superior service.
- Good understanding of sales and marketing concepts and the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate marketing plans.
- Knowledgeable of on-site maintenance requirements including dealing with vendors and contractors
- Establish rapport with residents so they feel recognized, valued, and appreciated
- Ability to operate and understand personal computer functions and company utilized software
- Assist the Property Manager as directed to obtain monthly lease renewals
- Complete daily rent deposits at the managers direction
Requirements:
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 to 2 years experience in resident leasing or property management
- Professional Image
- Strong administrative, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to set and achieve goals
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to sell and close a sale
- Entrata Experience is a huge plus.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college or advanced technical training is preferred

Assist in the absence of the Property Manager
