Pay rate $25/hr DOE
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute dinner dishes with precision and consistency, adhering to established recipes and standards of quality while also demonstrating flexibility to accommodate special requests and preferences.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation, conducting regular inspections and taste tests to uphold our reputation for excellence.
  • Proper adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of ingredients, as well as thorough cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the culinary team, including sous chefs, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations and timely delivery of meals to guests.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with guests, responding to inquiries, accommodating special requests, and addressing any concerns or feedback with a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Work with Executive Chef and Sous Chef to minimize waste
  • Communicate well with FOH Staff to answer questions about dietary restrictions
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, health codes, and licensing requirements, maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in all food and beverage areas.
  • Self Disciplined, knows how to take the lead and see that tasks get completed to the end.PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Maintain a pleasant, polite manner, and a neat and clean appearance
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and interact professionally with guests.
    • Knowledge of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation principles
    • Punctuality in order to ensure food is hot and ready on time for arrivals of guests.

    • ServSafe Food Handler Certification required
    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 50 or more pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
    • Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless service.
    • Flexibility to work throughout the week, including evenings as needed to accommodate special events and activities.
