Corporate Controller
Lakewood, CA; $195,000 - $210,000/year; FullTime, Onsite; Construction
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting new opportunity with a growing construction company looking to hire fulltime Corporate Controller. This position reports to the CFO and will be responsible for managing staff and multiple entities.
This position is entirely on-site – local applicants only.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Oversee the accounting department and implement procedure improvements as needed
- Facilitate all external audits
- Ensure the protection of the company’s assets and policies by developing and enforcing internal controls as needed
- Assist in the establishment of budgets, benchmarks and reporting standards
- Review internal reporting and track transactions to accurately manage cash flow
- Analyze and review financial reports to ensure proper compliance with all regulations and GAAP
- Other duties as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5-8 years corporate Controller experience required
- Prior experience working $500 million in revenue required
- Experience working in Construction or related field required
- Active CPA highly preferred
- Strong background in project accounting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong organizational skills
- Experience using Excel (mid to high-level)
