Senior Accountant
San Diego, CA $75,000 - $90,000 Direct, Full-Time, Onsite, Parts Supplier
ABOUT THE ROLE
San Diego-based parts supplier client is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to provide accounting support for the company.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed
- Assist with month-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and general account analyses and prepare journal entries as needed
- Accurately reconcile subledgers to the GL
- Prepare inventory reports and record all inventory transactions into the accounting system
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and analyze inventory trends
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Inventory accounting/management experience required
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using Excel (mid to high-level)
