About The RoleWe're seeking a Product Manager – Payment Processing to help drive and influence the roadmap both strategically and tactically, focusing on revenue expansion and cost reduction opportunities for the transaction processing product line crucial to the success of REPAY. Provide leadership for product initiatives from use case identification to requirements definition through post product launch. This is a brand-new role, and challenging opportunity to be an integral part of a team with high visibility and responsibility within the organization.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Defining identified market opportunities ensuring pro-active requirements gathering, good use case definition and acceptance criteria for REPAY’s Transaction Processing platform.
  • Align with the product vision and strategy by managing a rolling four quarter product roadmap view, reviewed and published on a quarterly basis.
  • Managing the Product backlog for Transaction Processing.
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders Technology, Sales, Operations and key customers to identify and document product gaps.
  • Together with Product Management turning Business Success metrics into Roadmap Epics.
  • Responsible for turning Roadmap Epics into actionable work for REPAY Technology (development teams) in a highly professional collaborative manner.
  • Collaborating with Technology to ensure continuous investment in architecture advancing REPAY’s Transaction Processing platform as a market leader.
  • Partnering with the Technology team to identify & translate initiatives into prototypes and deployable solutions.
  • Partnering with REPAY Marketing & Technical Writers to develops product documentation including merchant training material & release notes.
  • Maintaining and growing your industry knowledge (Card & Digital Wallet) for REPAY supported payments processing verticals: consumer finance, automobile lending, ARM, Healthcare, Credit Union/FI and others.
  • Evangelizing the REPAY Product line inside the company.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager successfully launching Transaction processing products.
  • Strong understanding of Debit and Credit Card payment processing, specifically Acquiring as well as card association operating rules.
  • A unique blend of business and technical savvy, big-picture vision, and a passion for owning products all the way from ideation to post-launch
  • Creating and executing user story acceptance criteria
  • Passion for great user experience, including the experience of engineers integrating with our API’s
  • Product owner experience with scalable, performant and highly available API based platforms
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of Agile product development and delivery
  • A proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing and often conflicting priorities
  • Excellent technical acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with emerging technologies
  • Winning attitude, excellent teamwork, and strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
