Embedded Hardware/Firmware Engineer

The office in the Charlotte area is seeking to expand its engineering team! They currently have under 20 people located in the area, but the company has a few hundred employees in total! This engineer would work in combination with other electrical and software engineers (about a team of 10) to work on projects surrounding sensor controls, laser controls and other projects on medical devices.

As the Embedded Engineer, you will be on cite Monday - Friday, but do later on have the options to work one day from home. You will need to be interested in more than just the engineering side but the science and chemistry surrounding these products. You will be on cite with multiple Directors and the CEO and COO.

The Requirements:

• 5 years of experience within the robotics, medical technology and/or automative
• Ability to understand full product life cycles and implement them.
• Worked or specialized in bare-metal microcontrollers using C & C .
• 5 years of PCB design experience, and hands on learning with electrical test equipment.
• Basic Knowledge in C on microcontrollers for chips.
• Excellent team communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work independently.
