Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Location: RTP Area, North Carolina

Budget: $80K- $100K

This client is looking for a combination of senior to mid embedded software. The company is based in the RTP surrounding area and looking for an on cite engineer to join their intimate team.

They specialize in medical technology, and even offer lab or production floor cites. You will be responsible for directly reporting to the director and owner, while working in a small team of around 5-8 people. Their need comes from the large number of projects to be completed in the next 2 years with their customers increasing steadily.

Requirements Include:

Experience level of 3-12 Years in the Embedded Software Space.

• Degree preference is Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Ability to see results in individual work and collaborative with other engineering teams: electrical, mechanical, and production teams.
• Expert in Embedded C with microcontrollers, C latest versions (11, 17 or 20)
• Previous experience in electronics, interfaces and touch screen work is highly recommended.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to move within projects with little guidance.

This position will allow you to be able to take on a lot of responsibilities in terms of coding, as you will be looked at as the leader for that. You will still work with the other engineers, but they need that skillset.

If you are on the lower end of the skillset range years, you may be asked to provide technical interviews to prove skill level.
