The Business Manager will be responsible for planning, coordination, and facilitation of all internal business operations activities necessary to maintain the seamless and efficient operation of a strategic Valorem Reply business unit (BU). In cooperation with key leadership from the Delivery, Delivery Services, and Customer Success teams the Business Manager will own strategic planning and alignment coordination, rhythm of business (RoB) activity execution, BU-wide initiative oversight, objectives and key results (OKR) management, internal process definition, and any additional responsibilities deemed necessary to support the realization of the goals of BU leadership. The ideal candidate will have advanced organizational and time management capabilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to act without the need for approval when the intended direction is clear. 

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and participate in agreed upon cadences and modes for BU-wide leadership alignment efforts. 
• Manage RoB activities including (but not limited to) organizational financial reviews, operational planning efforts, execution progress checks, end-of-cycle retrospectives, etc. 
• Provide leadership support by building broad relationships across the business and communicating key leadership priorities. 
• Manage and align leadership owned OKRs across the BU and provide top-down visibility to the same for the overall leadership team. 
• Drive efforts to establish internal business operations processes and policies when they are applicable to multiple areas of top-level leadership interests. 
• Maintain a working knowledge of executive level vision, strategy, and priorities for the BU. 
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and other activities as needed and where appropriate on behalf of the assigned Partner. 
• Support and coordinate morale and culture initiatives applicable to the BU.

• 8 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including: 
• 4 years of Information Technology work experience. 
• 4 years total combined higher education or related work experience. 

•  2 years previous experience working in a role directly relatedto software development. 

• 2 years previous experience in a consulting environment.
