Overview

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing professional nursing care for the safety and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities

* Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in Infusion Nursing and Pharmacy services as well as state laws and regulations.

* Complies to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses Association

* Develop goals of patients with Pharmacy staff

* Assesses patients and establishes appropriate plan of care base on health needs

* Educates patients and caregivers with resources and health related information

* Coordinates nursing care with Home Health agencies as required

Qualifications

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing

* Valid Nursing License

* One year of experience as a Registered Nurse; Infusion and Home Health Care experience preferred

* Knowledge in IV therapy is a plus

* CPR certified

* Effective verbal and written communication skills
