Job Description:

Self-motivated team player who accepts challenges, provides solutions, and able to multi-task and appreciates opportunities. Assembles and routes various types of material by performing the following duties.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collects specified number of materials and assembles for each addressee as indicated by a packing slip.
  • Places materials in envelopes, boxes, or other containers.
  • Produces shipping labels by computerized manifest system for outbound custom individual orders and multi-location production orders.
  • Operates fork truck and pallet truck.
  • Examines packages for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies, procedures and specifications.
  • Stock shelf locations, bulk picking locations, and supplies locations.
  • Records inventory movement.
  • Adjusts supplies from Resco inventory.
  • Performs physical inventory counts for verification purposes.
  • Prepares orders by palletizing for truck shipments.
  • Pulls special orders as requested.
  • Maintain filing system for original orders and/or packing slips.
  • Maintain clean, orderly work area.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence.
  • Motivated and independent – self-starter
  • Display positive attitude

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds/team lifting

Work Environment:

  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold or freezer conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions.
  • The temperature of the warehouse is conducive to the outside weather.
  • The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.

Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
