Rescue Cooling Rentals is a premier provider of temporary HVAC solutions in Texas and Arizona. When the AC goes out in hot climates, it’s a big deal. If repairs can’t happen immediately, then homeowners go to a hotel or businesses shut down. Rescue Cooling delivers portable AC units within 90 minutes to keep businesses open and residents in their homes. Our business model is unique, and our company is growing fast! We need motivated summer associates to join our team and help us meet surging demand for our services. You will get LOTS of hours this summer and love your paychecks. You will also get a bonus at the end of the season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service. Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner. Understand customer needs and provide some advice on HVAC equipment rental options. Handle inquiries and resolve customer concerns or issues promptly.
• Equipment Rental. Ensure all required documentation is completed in our software system. Load and unload delivery vans. Deliver and install equipment at customer locations. (Installations are simple, but do require climbing a 5-ft ladder at times.)
• Equipment Maintenance. Conduct pre- and post-rental equipment inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation. Report any equipment damage or maintenance requirements to the Branch Manager.

Safety and Compliance:

• A clean driving record is required. Must be 21 years of age for insurance purposes. No special driver’s license is required to operate our delivery vans.
• Must follow company safety procedures in handling of equipment and comply with all OSHA guidelines on the job.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with other team members, including drivers and technicians, to ensure efficient rental operations.
• Provide support in loading and unloading equipment and preparing it for rental.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and push equipment and perform physical tasks associated with portable HVAC equipment
• Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions, including hot temperatures.

• Customers are thrilled to see you! It feels great to work hard and deliver crucial AC equipment when customers need it most. When cold air starts blowing again, it is a huge relief to customers in a stressful situation.

Salary: This isnot a summer sales position, but a fast-paced operational role with lots of overtime potential. Your summer earnings will be excellent. The hourly rate for first-year associates is $20, with a performance bonus target of $5k paid at the end of the season. (Previous rental associates have made $30-40k working May 1st through August 31st.)

Schedule: 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri with lunch break. Plus, you will be on call every other week. On-call means that when customers need emergency AC deliveries after 5PM or on weekends, you hop in the truck and take care of them. You can count on working 50-60 hours per week on average. On the weeks when you are NOT on call, you can confidently plan evening and weekend activities.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 70 per week
