Job Title: Special Projects Coordinator
Salary Grade: 24
Salary Range: $87,405 - $89,434
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. (RFMH) is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a full-time Special Projects Coordinator. The selected candidate will present excellent organizational skills, ability to plan ahead, prioritize, and ensure the Bureau is meeting its deadlines. As well as having the ability to work flexibly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the selected candidate must present excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage diplomatically with colleagues, and external parties. Along with having the ability to act independently and exercise good judgment. Ultimately the successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Teams.

The Bureau of Health Promotion for Justice-Impacted Populations (HPJIP) in the Division of Mental Hygiene aims to reduce the negative social and health consequences of criminal legal system involvement through innovative policy and practice change. By centering community, addressing racial inequities, honoring lived experience, and elevating trauma-and-resilience-informed-approaches, we promote evidence-based best practices to address the needs of those disproportionately impacted by the criminal legal system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Commissioner (AC) of the Bureau of Health Promotion for Justice-Impacted Populations (HPJIP) the Special Projects Coordinator will:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Public Heath, Public Administration, Public Policy, and 3 years of relevant project coordination and/or project management experience.
Preferred Skills:
Remote Work Policy: DOHMH employees working through RFMH are allowed a Hybrid option post training and onboarding.
Sponsorship Policy: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
