Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled bilingual phlebotomist who can travel to multiple locations in the Houston area to collect blood samples and recruit patients for research trials. The candidate will be responsible for processing lab samples and packaging them for shipping. The ideal candidate should have exceptional phlebotomy skills for biomedical research studies, particularly blood collection studies. Administrative and lab experience are considered an added advantage for a fast-paced office.

Job Duties

• Patient Recruitment
• Administrative responsibilities
• Coordinates multiple research studies with multiple PIs, ability to administer study activities
• Be proactive
• Manages (clinically and administratively) one or more clinical trials
• Adheres to FDA Good Clinical Practices outlining the standard for design, conduct, performance, monitoring, auditing, recording, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials or studies
• Verifies eligibility of patients for enrollment in studies based on complex comprehensive inclusion and exclusion criteria outlined in the protocol
• Ensures scientific integrity of data and protects the rights, safety, and well-being of patients enrolled in clinical trials
• Discusses study protocols with patients and verify the informed consent documentation
• Lab collection, processing, and shipping
• Collection and documentation of patient information in source documents.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 yrs minimal phlebotomy experience
• Bilingual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Healthcare setting:

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
