**About Reserve Wine & Food**

Reserve Wine & Food opened in September of 2010. The centerpiece of Reserve is our 102-bottle Cruvinet system, which stores wine using nitrogen preservation to keep bottles fresh for up to six weeks. We aspire to deliver a humble, knowledgeable and guest-centric experience to all. At Reserve, our cuisine carries a focus on sourcing local products while maintaining a strong sense of seasonality. As a team, were continually striving to learn, grow and exceed expectations.

**About the Position**

The **Hostess** position manages the flow of the restaurant, greets arriving guests, welcomes them into the establishment, and seats them. This role will report to the Assistant General Manager.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Answer the phone in a prompt and professional manner.

Develop a rapport with regular guests.

Book reservations and respond to all inquiries in a timely manner.

Ensure that guests are greeted in a genuine, friendly and courteous fashion.

Display a pleasant disposition at all times.

Ensure the needs of waiting guests are met.

Provide guests with sincere advice and obliging recommendations.

Assist with to go orders.

Learn and promote the developments services, facilities, and amenities and be able to direct guests accordingly.

Monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables.

Manage the flow of customers.

Track section assignments and seating rotation.

Maintain a stocked, tidy and clean work area at all times.

Notify other management on necessity of menus and/or dry goods as it pertains to host .

Work as a contributing team member, acting in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

Comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Reserve Wine & Food.

**Education and Experience**

Previous hosting experience, preferred.

Possess a positive attitude and work well with others.

Proficient with OpenTable, required.

Must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.

. Reliable transportation with ability to work flexible hours (day and/or nights)

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
