Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Residence Inn, Salem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in rooms and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Conduct repairs on faulty equipment to minimize downtime
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders
- Complete preventive maintenance on all rooms effetely and in a timely manner
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Skills:
- Proficient in electrical systems and troubleshooting
- General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, appliances and pool preferred but not mandatory
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Friendly deminor with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to work with logic controllers for automation systems
- Capable of fabricating parts using various tools and techniques
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical schematics
- Fluency in English for effective communication
- Must be available on weekends and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the hotel
- Must be available for days shifts, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
