Resident - New York is Hiring a Beverage Inventory Strategy Specialist Near New York, NY

Resident taps rising star chefs from the world’s best restaurants to host intimate, chef’s table style dinners in spectacular spaces. We take over townhouses, penthouses, and other luxury spaces to host ticketed dinners, personal celebrations, team-building and client entertaining events, and wholly-owned brand experiences. Each chef’s event is a reflection of the chef’s background, passions and memories. We offer guests the unique opportunity to connect with the faces behind their food.

As the company continues to grow and increase the number of cellars we are managing, we are looking for a Beverage Inventory & Strategy Specialist. This person will have a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. This person will report to our Senior Director of Operations with an instrumental role in helping to maintain and organize our beverage inventory and pair our menus. This person will need to be very detail oriented, punctual, communicative, and financially savvy. They will be very active in visiting our spaces weekly, and will be confident in working independently and communicating using our company channels and infrastructure to enable the success of other colleagues and departments.

This role will be a force multiplier. They will pair menus swiftly in a cost-effective manner. They will assist in ensuring that we do not order too much product across our portfolio of properties, keeping inventories as lean as possible given spatial constraints inherent with our spaces. They will also enhance our client experience by curating bespoke packages for clients looking to create a custom wine experience.

Our hire will be deeply passionate about food and beverage and always be on the lookout for innovative collaborations, rising food & beverage talent, and ways to improve our value proposition to our various stakeholders. And, like any early-stage company, this person will be a proactive, ‘no-task-too-small’ team-player that is willing to roll up their sleeves to build something incredible.
