We have an immediate opening for a committed professional with a background in providing and assuring quality services delivered to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Job Description

Title: Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance Responsibilities

  • Conduct record reviews for compliance and identifies opportunities for improvement or corrective actions and to ensure performance expectations are met.
  • Submit weekly QA reports to the Executive Director.
  • Present consistent feedback to management regarding areas that need improvement.
  • Ensure all calls are returned within 24 hours of calling and leaving a message.
  • Review quality assurance standards, study existing policies and procedures and interviews personnel and patients to evaluate effectiveness of quality assurance programs.
  • Creates, implements and monitors standard operating procedures.
  • Completes scheduling for all supported living sites.
  • Review all NOA’s to ensure allotted hours are being utilized.
  • Monitors and reviews hour utilization.
  • Completes interviews for Medicaid and Food Stamps.
  • Ensures all documents are submitted to Medicaid/FSSA in a timely manner.
  • Completes Disciplinary Actions
  • Participates in Incident Investigations and completes reports to the Executive Director
  • Completes external BDDS reports.
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Requirements

  • Associates degree in Human Services, education, psychology, sociology or related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred or
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of quality assurance procedures and federal, state and local coalition laws and mandates.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of computers and knowledge of data management processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of eligibility determination processes and filing procedures.
