Role Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with Health Plans:
- Verify client coverage and eligibility for services.
- Communicate with health plans to secure necessary authorizations.
- Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims or authorization requests.
- Reviewing and Creating Bills:
- Generate and submit claims to insurance companies.
- Rectify billing errors promptly to minimize revenue loss.
- Collaborate with staff to streamline billing processes.
- Coordinating Client Accounts:
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist clients with setting up payment plans.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in billing software systems
- Knowledge of mental health billing codes and insurance regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in Therap and Procentive EMR preferred.
