Residential Transitions, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager Near Mendota, MN

Position Overview:Residential Transitions Inc. (RTI) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, lead quality assurance initiatives, and manage the Training and Administrative Departments. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and rights for the adults we serve.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Training and Administrative Department, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Align training objectives with licensing requirements and organizational needs.
  • Oversee and Manage RTI’s Learning Management System and employee training requirements, ensuring proactive measures are implemented and compliance across programming are met.
  • Track and implement workflow and compliance standards throughout the organization.
  • Manage RTI’s operational use of EMR software for efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans and interventions to ensure program compliance with regulations as assigned.
  • Conduct periodic division and service-related audits, develop corrective action plans, and ensure completion as assigned.
  • Oversee and lead assessments on incident reports and DHS investigations to evaluate potential risks, ensuring proactive measures are implemented.
  • Oversee Incident and Grievance reporting and work with Operations to manage processes and next steps by using Root Cause Analysis methodologies and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and track all participant paperwork compliance and develop internal processes to ensure compliance.
  • Develop, track, and prepare management reports on compliance across departments.
  • Oversee and provide high-quality documentation regarding individualized service plans as required by licensure/certification standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and ensure quality objectives are achieved.
  • Provide training to departments as needed.
  • Manage, develop, coordinate, and support systems improvements for compliance and quality.
  • Complete weekly and monthly quality assurance processes and assist in related projects.
  • Lead Quality Assurance Team Meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, waivers, and uniform standards by tracking QA reports, updating forms, identifying training needs, and updating policies and statutes as necessary.
  • Oversee licensure and certification reviews for all RTI departments. Complete statute and certification applications and renewals as assigned.
  • Engage with County, Department of Human Services (DHS), and policy workgroups focused on legislative changes.
  • Initiate and execute legislative changes within internal processes and procedures.
Required Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field.
  • Meet the requirements of a Designated Coordinator and have a minimum of three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older preferred.
  • Master’s degree in a healthcare or project management related field preferred.
  • 1 or more years of experience in compliance and quality assurance in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Preferred knowledge of HCBS and MN Statutes which may include: 245D, 245I, Mental Health and Case Management Services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in programming and workflow strategies based on QA findings.
  • Strong detail-oriented, critical thinking, and observational skills.
  • Technology adept and have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to solve practical problems analytically and deal with complex variables.
  • Ability to pass the BCA Criminal Background Check and the “Sexual Exploitation of Patients by Psychotherapists” screen required by the Department of Human Services.
  • Ability to pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of the Inspector General to assure that person has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, understand, and comply with professional ethics and standards of practice.
  • Demonstrate a strong capacity for analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem solving.
  • Commitment to supporting people and creating a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
  • Ability to work independently, solve practical problems, manage a variety of variables, and make decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the effects of mental illness and willingness to stay abreast of state-of-the-art knowledge from a wide variety of disciplines applicable to the treatment of persons with mental illness.

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
