Job Description: Vice President of Education and Placement

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Overview: The Vice President of Education and Placement will play a critical role in driving the success of Residents Medical by focusing on sales and the counseling of medical graduates for residency placements. This role requires a dynamic leader who can develop and implement strategic initiatives to attract, educate, and place medical graduates into residency programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract medical graduates to Residents Medical’s services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with medical schools, hospitals, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand Residents Medical’s reach.
  • Residency Counseling:
  • Provide expert counseling and guidance to medical graduates on residency applications, interview preparation, and program selection.
  • Develop personalized residency placement plans for clients, ensuring alignment with their career goals and qualifications.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and changes in residency programs and requirements.
  • Education and Training:
  • Design and oversee educational programs and workshops to prepare clients for the residency application process.
  • Collaborate with the education team to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of clients and aligns with industry standards.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make continuous improvements.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of residency specialist counselors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities for the team.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective team management and support.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform strategy.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, client success, and program effectiveness to the executive team.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and follow-up to ensure their success.
  • Address client concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, and client counseling, preferably within the healthcare or education sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of the residency application process and requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

  • Basse salary range - $100K-$150K yearly
  • Bonus eligibility
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
