- Organize staffing and rotate ‘on-call’ with assistant manager, when applicable.
- Manage funds of clients.
- Complete administrative duties; i.e. semi-annual and annual paperwork for clients.
- Complete training, and management of new and existing staff.
- Monitor medications and the delivery/organization of medications.
- Monitoring and follow up of client charting and documentation.
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing as needed.
- Effectively practice person centered planning.
- Guide activities and physical exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Provide companionship
- Assist with errands and shopping
- Complete other documentation and meetings as needed
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
- First aid and CPR certified is a plus
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent and effective communication and interpersonal spills
- Communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Make decisions and complete tasks with little or no supervision.
- Respond to changing situations in a flexible manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Read, write and speak the English language.
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
- High school degree or GED preferred.
- Valid and current Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Must be able to pass a DHS background study. EOA/AA
- You must be at least 18 years of age.

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
