We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist the Construction Division in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation: Create, review, and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring all activities align with project goals and timelines.
Budget Management: Help monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring timely material delivery and work completion.
Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and construction crews.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, escalating to the Project Manager as necessary.
Quality Control: Support quality assurance and control measures to ensure all work meets Company standards and project specifications.
Scheduling: Help maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management/project engineering or a related role.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of construction documents, methods, materials, and regulations.
Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
