Job description
We are looking for someone who is:
This is not an entry level position. Must have experience at a front desk, preferably at a Medical office. Must have very good phone and face to face etiquette. Also prefer experience with billing and tracking insurance claims. Credentialing for our therapists would also be a plus. If you don't have these, we are willing to train if you are willing to learn.
Selected individual will interact with staff, future and current clients as well as our therapists.
The position requires a professional person with the ability to multitask; answering phones, assisting clinicians, and taking care of clients as they come in the door. As well as working insurance claims on insurance websites or calling.
The position also requires knowledge of mental health/medical insurance billing, and prior use and understanding of HIPAA compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Individual will represent the center and our therapists in a professional and positive manner.
Will answer phones; schedule, reschedule, collect copays, verify insurance information, and cancel client appointments as needed.
Will act as a liaison between clinicians, clients and EHR system
Will also help with back end of collecting insurance and client payments. Calling insurance companies and figuring out problems to get claims paid.
