Job title: Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Fully Remote (EST Timezone preferred)

Position Type: Full-time, 9-5 pm EST

Role Overview:

As a Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of our Salesforce implementations, configurations, and customizations. You will work closely with our development and implementation teams to understand requirements, design test plans, execute test cases, and report defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, experience with various testing methodologies, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of Salesforce applications and customizations.

Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders to validate that solutions meet business requirements.

Document test results, create test reports, and communicate findings to project stakeholders.

Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices to ensure effective testing strategies.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

2 years of experience as a Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role.

Strong understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals, including declarative configuration, custom development, and integration capabilities.

Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Experience with Salesforce testing tools such as Salesforce Inspector, Selenium, or Salesforce DX.

Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder) are a plus.
