Carolina Recreation and Design recreation offers turnkey installation of recreational products for parks, schools, churches, clubs, day cares and amusement parks.

This position is responsible for the Greenville, Spartanburg, Columbia, SC and surrounding areas. You will occasionally have to travel to our office in Mooresville, NC. Prefer candidates reside within coverage area.

Cultivate relationships with recreation and education professionals within local and county governments to purchase commercial recreation equipment including splash pads, steel picnic shelters, restroom buildings, commercial playgrounds and fabric shade structures in the Greenville, SC and surrounding areas. The position is a fully remote, outside business development role.

Duties will include:

• Regularly visit customers to promote our products in assigned territory
• Utilize internal lead sources to identify new projects and customers
• Attend and represent company at trade / industry shows and training sessions as required
• Work independently, manage the territory and your time effectively to exceed assigned sales goals
• Site visits to ensure successful installation

Job Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Two or more years’ experience growing sales within an assigned territory
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates to meet sales goals
• Recreation and/or construction industry sales experience preferred
• Experience working with architects to specify products
• Experience with government procurement processes preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• College degree preferred
• CPO and/or CPSI certifications preferred

Compensation: base salary commission & monthly car allowance
