Leads the Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee orientated, high performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, goal achievement, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
• Coordinates implementation of services, policies and procedures through Human Resources staff.
* Oversees the employee and labor relations functions, including but not limited to contract negotiations, contract administration, employee counseling and guidance, employee discipline, grievance processing and hearings, arbitration administration and advocacy.
• Serves on the Executive Management team and assists and advises company managers on Human Resources matters.• Defines and implements process improvements and tools and technology to enhance processes for learning execution.• Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions and implement them.• Ensure compliance and maintain a thorough knowledge in such areas as EEO, Fair Labor Standards, Wage and Hour, FMLA, and other regulatory requirements. • Strong, decisive, results-oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships across the organization.• Quickly assesses areas that need improvement and prioritizes issues to be addressed. • Manages the common processes and day-to-day operations of Human Resources. • Partners with local college in an effort to secure grant funding whereas training and leadership development programs are aligned with business strategies.• Leads performance management process, including goal setting and annual reviews, to ensure consistency, integration and continuous improvement across the company.• Functions as the Equal Opportunity Officer is accordance with N.J.S.A. 5:12-134 and 135 and N.J.A.C. 19:53-1.4.• Promotes positive public relations.• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, related degree or may substitute experience for education.• 10 years Human Resources Management experience.• 10 years’ employee and labor relations experience. • 10 years of Gaming experience preferred.• Specific experience in FMLA, ADA, EEO, and other applicable laws.• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.• Computer skills required including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.• Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information.• Must be detail orientated with excellent organization skills.• Ability to communicate with team Members.• Ability to be a team player.• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week.• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
