Resource Care is Hiring a Dental Front Desk Receptionist Near Merkel, TX

Job Summary

Responsible for the performance of various front office duties in a highly accurate manner.

Respon*si*bilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to our patients and the public.
  • Check patients in to the Dentrix and Centricity system.
  • Answer phone calls, provide appropriate assistance, and redirect calls appropriately.
  • Verify patient demographic information (e.g., address, phone number) at every visit
  • Estimate patient’s portion of services by using appropriate insurance fee schedule or sliding fee scale.
  • Work as a liaison between the clients and the dental providers.
  • Follow established policies and guidelines for processing patients to be seen.
  • Verify Insurance eligibility.
  • Collect and track data necessary for patient follow-up and reporting
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • Computer; calculator; time management; computer spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, strong numerical aptitude.
  • Initiative; flexibility; ability to effectively address multiple tasks requiring attention to detail; problem identification, analysis, and resolution.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; ability to function with autonomy and minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage confidential records and information.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Educational Qualifications

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Typical Physical Demands

· Finger Dexterity: Using fingers to make small movements such as typing or picking up small objects. Normal fine and gross motor control of fingers and hands.

· Talking: Frequently conveying detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, clearly, or quickly.

· Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information; hear whispered voice at five (5) feet.

· Repetitive Motions: Frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and fingers.

· Visual: Visual acuity necessary for the proper evaluation of a patient and to prepare or inspect documents or other materials. Ability to accurately view computer monitors
Physical: Sitting 70-80% of time and standing, walking 20-30% of time. Lift up to 20-40 lbs; push and pull up to 20-40 lbs. Able to bend at the waist, twist and turn along axial plane.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.50 per hour
