ResourceMFG is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Chatsworth, CA

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Chatsworth, CA

pay $25- $30/hr Monday through Friday

Job Title:

  • Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients based on provided documentation.
  • Verify invoice details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Payment Processing: Record and post payments received from clients using accounting software.
  • Reconcile payments with outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collections Support: Assist in monitoring and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial transactions into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy. Update and maintain customer information in the database. Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging. Provide relevant information to support decision-making processes. Customer Service: Respond to client inquiries and concerns related to billing and receivables. Collaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve client issues. 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in accounts receivable.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
