Verify all incoming/outgoing material and quantities are accurate. Verify all components pulled match Bills of Materials (BOM's) before delivering to production. Make sure all product, bins and racks are properly labeled. Inform purchasing and inventory staff members of any material or packing supply shortages. Load/Unload incoming or outgoing material using necessary equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Report defective material or questionable condition to the department supervisor Perform weekly reviews on packaging material and report needed material to purchasing. Work closely with the production planner and supervisor to determine items to be pulled for production. Participate in the 2 Second Lean program to support continuous improvement and cost savings. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in the warehouse and dock areas. Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition Perform inventory cycle counts as needed or instructed.
