JOB DESCRIPTION The Samples In-Charge is responsible for fulfilling (pulling inventory parts, assembling, soldering, packing and shipping, / receiving returns, repairs and updating) all samples, sample briefcases, table top trade show samples, showroom samples related to sales and pubic relation activities of the company

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make sure your work station has the necessary tools, including work tools, materials (supplies) and assembly instructions needed for the fixtures you need to build (before you begin).

• Coordinate with sales, marketing, public relations and Engineering to ensure you fully understand what is needed before you begin an order. The correct look / feel and proper assembly is of utmost importance.

• Learn NetSuite to approve, fulfill and close out sample sales orders and work orders in the system.

• Ensure the Account Manager (sales) and Public Relations manager do a final Quality control check all samples and sample order before they leave the building. Handle anything that comes up.

• Fulfill all orders within the allotted timeline and work with the sales team and public relations on alternatives or partial fulfillments when needed.

• Work with Public Relations on design and building table-top trade show booths as well as the fixtures we want to showcase for all company trade shows and the in-house showroom. Repair and update anything as needed to keep it fresh and up to date.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Mechanically-inclined, experience using basic hand and power tools to solder electronic components, screw / twist mechanical parts and build boxes for trade show booths (carpentry, painting).

• Experience with computers and software applications such as database management system, customer relation management system, word and excel.

• Able to read and follow work orders, assembly instructions and basic technical drawings.

• Professional verbal and written communication and a positive attitude.

• Takes personal pride in own work, attention to detail, quality and professionalism.
