Site Manager

Restart Inc, a 501 (c) (3) organization located in Minneapolis, MN was created in 1986 to focus on housing and services for individuals with brain injuries. Since then it has expanded to own two community residential setting programs and five assisted living settings. Restart also operates an Outreach Individualized Home Support (IHS) service that assists individuals in their own housing throughout the Twin Cities. Restart has earned a solid reputation as a provider of choice in this market and while the Residential Program focus is on brain injury services, the Outreach ILS Program has an expanded emphasis for individuals with additional needs based on mental health, other disabilities, including impaired elderly individuals. Restart has approximately 75 employees.

To support persons with brain injury and related disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence through programs and independent living services in community living and outreach environments.

Position Overview

Restart Inc. is looking for Site Managers for some of our locations throughout Minneapolis and the surrounding area. The Site Manager is responsible for the oversight of a residential location. The Site Manager serves as the front-line administrator for day-to-day operations for one of our Assisted Living locations. This includes, ensuring that services and support are provided to residents in a manner that protects their health, safety, and well-being and is consistent with residents' rights; maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations; hiring, training, and supervising staff; maintaining the building and grounds; and ensuring the development, implementation, and monitoring of individual care plans.

Reporting to our Senior Manager, Assisted Living, this role has direct reports encompassing a Program Coordinator and the site Direct Support Professional’s (DSP). Specific responsibilities include:

· Ensure the operations of the home and relevant ancillary services are efficient, compliant and focused on the well-being of both our residents and our dedicated staff who provide direct care.

· Role model espoused expectations and behaviors of site staff.

· Utilize your extensive knowledge of Assisted Living environments of care to coach, train and instill accountability related to care, documentation, and overall regulatory compliance.

· Collaboratively work with colleagues to create and maintain program plans, timelines, and budgets.

· Maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

· Proactively oversee and coach to successful outcomes, opportunities related to employee performance.

· Ensuring the development, implementation, and monitoring of an individualized, person-centered plan of care for each resident.

· Proactively and collaboratively ensure adequate staffing.

· Instill and nurture an environment of curiosity and accountability that is consistent with our core values and competencies.

· Actively participate as a member of Restart’s leadership team, including our “on-call” rotation.

· Monitor and maintain a site budget.

Qualifications:
1) Minimum of 3 years experience working in Human Services and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in the Human Services industry.

2) Must be able to pass and maintain a clean criminal background check and medical requirements as suggested or required by Restart Inc., DHS and MDH.

3) Demonstrated Strong technological skills and problem solving.

4) Experience with MA and other benefit programs, including SSI and other disability programs.

5) Knowledge of local social services resources and agencies.

6) Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

7) Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

8) Ability to professionally manage conflict.

9) Current drivers license and insurance with a reliable personal vehicle for occasional use in transporting residents to appointments.

10) Flexibility and aptitude to manage operations for a 24/7 service, including occasional participation in our on-call rotation during afterhours.
