Working as the Catering Director for R/A, you have the responsibility for the successful execution of the catering department including events of all types ranging from basic continental breakfasts for 10 to annual events with 1,000 attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively develop and maintain the relationships between RA, clients, guests, staff and the union
• Supervise managed volume of the $16 million including catering services and events
• Develop and oversee operating procedures to ensure a superior product including allergen protocol.
• Supervise a staff of salaried and hourly team of 75 in a union environment.
• Maintain budget, report regularly, and be proactive in adjustments when necessary to meet financial goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry including 2 years in management (preferably Catering Management)
• Outstanding hospitality and relationship building skills
