We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Senior Business Analyst for a remote position as part of an ongoing contract with our customer in Washington, DC. (This is a full-time, telecommute position with occasional onsite requirements; 25% travel.)

Due to security requirements, all successful candidates will be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.

Senior Business Analysts are responsible for gathering an organization’s business processes and requirements leveraging the ServiceNow platform. This includes the ability to gather requirements through requirements workshops, business process documentation, use cases, scenarios, and workflow review and design to produce stories in order to support the implementation of ServiceNow. Business Analysts have to have a solid understanding of "as is" "to be" so the information can be distilled into user stories that are suitable for Agile development. Solutions provided should optimize, transform, and ensure Organizations are efficiently and effectively using the ServiceNow platform.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Perform design work sessions and produce deliverables, including mock-ups, flow diagrams, etc.
• As it applies, reference IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configurations.
• Support the documenting processes, identify new requirements, capture user stories and performs unit testing
• Document test steps as part of the unit testing in a manner that customer can follow
• Facilitate product backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily SCRUM, sprint review, and sprint retrospective sessions
• Maintain training and knowledge of designated applications.
• Assist customers with proof-of-concept activities.
• Enable RCG Delivery building efforts through development of intellectual property (IP).
• Participate in growing and enhancing internal process for successful client delivery.
• Identify new opportunities to provide additional value to clients and improve business performance.
• Maintain high level of client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent exp.
• 5 years business analyst experience
• 3 years’ experience with ServiceNow
• Understanding of Enterprise Solutions including IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, IT Asset Management, Customer Service, Human Resources, Project Management, etc.
• Understanding of the ITIL framework including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and/or Service Desk.
• Strong client interfacing skills: a positive attitude, highly motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical skills and business presentation skills
• Experience working in an Agile project environment
• Experience gathering and documenting client requirements in an Agile stories format

Desired:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
• ITIL® Certification
• Process certifications (i.e. PMP. SCRUM Master)
