COMPANY SUMMARY
Restoration Medical Polymers is a growing raw material supplier to the orthopedic industry based in northeast Indiana. RMP consolidates Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) via Ram Extrusion, Compression Molding, and Direct Compression Molding using custom equipment. RMP also performs custom blending of additives into UHMWPE resin, and a full range of laboratory testing for R&D and material quality control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Learn and understand all applicable UHMWPE processing methods for Medical Devices to be able to meet production requirements and run all manufacturing processes.
· Responsible for process set-up, tear-down, and a significant amount of process maintenance/troubleshooting.
· Perform manual trimming operations on Medical Implants.
· Responsible for strict adherence to RMP’s Quality Management System, including Material Traceability and Inspection.
· Contribute to continuous improvement and new process/product design and development.
· Measure and verify dimensional conformance of parts and materials against provided inspection sheets and/or prints.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
· 3-5 years’ experience in a clean and organized industrial environment preferred.
· Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Technology Manufacturing background and education preferred.
· Experience in document management in accordance with ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 preferred.
· Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software tools preferred.

· Must be precise, thorough, and patient.
· Will be performing repetitive tasks on a daily basis.
· Mechanical ability.
· Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently and legibly in English.
· Must be able to use and read measurement equipment including calipers and weight scales.
· Good organizational skills/time management/self-motivation.
· Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
· A team player able to build good cross-functional and operational relationships.
· Accountable, disciplined and driven to succeed with a strong work ethic, needing minimal supervision.
ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Manufacturing environment.
· Must be able to maintain an environment similar to a clean room.
· Must be able to be standing and/or walking for a minimum of 8 hours.
· Must have good dexterity.
· Occasional exposure to loud noise.
· Must be willing to wear the proper PPE during your shift.
· Must be able to lift up to 10lbs daily, with an ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally, and 55 lbs regularly.
· May be required to work overtime as needed.
· Train on first shift for eventual transition to evening/night shift.
