Naperville, IL Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 plus Commissions Full-time IMMEDIATE HIRE!Our client, a full-service restoration company specializing in water, fire, and disaster-damaged properties, is in search of an excellent ProjectDirector who will obtain customer commitment through timely site visits and proposal submittal. Create high levels of customer trust though display of knowledge and listening to obtain customer dominant buying motive. Facilitate the timely and profitable delivery of all services required to rapidly return the customer’s property to pre-loss condition, minimizing repairs and downtime following property damage. Exceed established targets for responding to losses, this may include odd hours and weekends
Generate business through networking, and attending stakeholder related functions
Build and maintain relationships with claims adjusters and subcontractors
Attend Business Development events as requested
Produce accurate and profitable job estimates either directly or by providing tics to Estimator
Validate any Estimator developed estimate prior to contract
Produce supplements/change orders as requested by PM and obtain insurance approval as needed
Monitor execution of projects to completion
Obtain written contracts, payment terms, draws, and deposits for projects per discussion with PM or Operations Manager
Monitor flow of production documentation from the job site to internal team and external stakeholders
Help the project team understand timeline and dependencies. Manage those dependencies and communicate effectively to the customer.
Develop project strategies to allow for multiple work streams & project phases to progress concurrently while protecting our financial exposure.
Work as needed to deliver signed project per company goals and customer needs.
Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders throughout project
Handle all adjuster communication on projects
Close business – obtain customer commitment
Maintain project files
Close jobs by obtaining customer agreement to the defined project scope and cost
Handle recurring and unique tasks, as necessary
Requirements
5 years of experience managing construction or restoration projects and supervising crews. Advanced knowledge of building construction, remodeling or restoration. Understands the relationship between direct labor and profitability.
Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and budgeting. Ability to review completed job costing, assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
