Installation, support and training of Point of Sale equipment in convenience stores.

Excellent customer service skills required. Ability to travel. Experience with network cabling and an understanding of Windows operating systems, switches and routers preferred. Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, use hand tools, and the ability to communicate well with a diverse customer base. Experience in a convenience store retail setting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, training and customer support during regular business hours when not traveling
• Manage on site installations, training and support of POS equipment
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Document processes
• Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with all teams and share information across the organization
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
• Build positive relationships with customers

Requirements

• Available to travel long distances frequently; by plane or company provided vehicle
• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Experience working with POS systems or another database programming preferred
• Intermediate to advanced computer hardware and operating systems preferred
• Valid Drivers License required
• Associates Degree or Technical Degree/Certification preferred, but not required
