Clinic Supervisor
As the Clinic Supervisor, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Clinic Manager for promoting and maintaining high standards of quality care through instruction, orientation, evaluation, staffing and continuous performance improvement. The Clinic Supervisor maintains all policies and procedures, and works closely with doctors, executive administrator and clinic manager in the hiring of associates. This position is responsible for establishing a high performing team that is efficient, knowledgeable, service oriented, and shares responsibility for attaining the goals of the practice. Must demonstrate comprehension of the retina technician skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage clinical staff and the day-to-day clinical operations. Coordinates the efficient flow of patients, staff and providers in a busy clinic environment.
- Provides continuous training and guidance to clinical staff by proactively participating in clinic on a semi-regular basis; oversees performance reviews and monitors daily routine of technical staff; trains new technical staff.
- Identify and define complex problems and develop and implement solutions for quality and process improvement
- Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with providers and staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthy clinic atmosphere.
- Enhances and improves patient experience through investigating patient complaints, draws conclusions, and contacts patients for satisfaction resolutions.
- Assists with managing and directing staff to achieve maximum MIPS score for each eligible provider.
- Demonstrates knowledge of diagnosis codes and all other clinical workflows impacting reimbursement and manages clinical processes to ensure clean claims accordingly.
- Assists with clinical equipment maintenance by coordinating a maintenance program with clinical staff for timely repairs and proper functioning.
- Assists in maintaining compliance with standard medical practice to manage and minimize risk.
- Create a weekly staff schedule and revise as needed. Approve leave and vacation time for staff, while being mindful of schedules and clinic flow.
- Meets operational goals set by management.
Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in a management role
- Three years of retina technician experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and challenge staff; sound decision-making skills; ability to bridge the gap between administrative demands and clinical needs
- Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures

Range: 70,000-80,000 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
