Growing, Fast paced, Upper East-Side Ambulatory Surgery Center seeking a Per-Diem Registered Nurse experienced in the Operating Room, Pre-op and Pacu. Ideal Candidate should have a minimum of 1 year Experience. Preferably with Ophthalmic Procedures. Preferably with a background in ambulatory surgery center setting. Highly Competitive Compensation. Responsibilities and Duties

• Work closely with surgical team including physicians, scrub technicians, and surgical support staff to ensure best practices;
• Adhere to our standard of patient care in all clinical activities;
• Promote a supportive and team-oriented environment;
• Work under direction of Nurse Leader.
• Checking vitals for patients.
• Reviewing the Health & Physical, EKG, Labs.
• Providing discharge instructions to the patients.
• Administering ophthalmic drops to patients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate Degree or RN license with supporting experience
• NYS RN license and registration required
• BLS & ACLS certification required

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
