Retirement Unlimited, Incorporated, a premiere provider of over Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Communities is seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Services for Northern NJ and NY.

This position supports the Regional Director of Clinical Services in each community within the assigned region. Works with community management team to insure overall resident satisfaction.

• Develops and maintains a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position, the department, and the personnel.
• Audits to ensure resident files are being maintained in an orderly manner and documents all pertinent information regarding residents.
• Attends or completes a minimum of 12 hours of annual training on topics relevant to the community’s resident population.
• Provides hands on care as needed.
• Assists in investigating resident and family complaints or concerns regarding the nursing department and reports when necessary and ensures problems are resolved.
• Assists in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating nursing staff.
• May supervise and conduct training sessions for other staff members as required.

REQUIREMENT

• Current license by the State Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to exert up to 75 lbs. of force occasionally and exert up to 50 lbs. of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
• Must be available for on-call, nights, holidays, weekends, and emergencies.
• Must have two years of nursing experience, preferably in long term care management.

• Must have strong customer service skills and be able to teach customer service skills to staff.
