Rev is looking for a Scopist to join our team! A scopist is a transcript editor and as a scopist with our team you will take the raw transcript and complete the formatting and editing to create the finished version. Please note this is a 1099 position. 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent Listening Skills
• Adherence to Deadlines
• Outstanding Literacy Skills -- including comprehension, spelling, and grammar
• Ability to Collaborate Remotely
• Typing Proficiency in both Speed and Accuracy
• Ability to Process Extreme Audio/Text Content (content may be offensive)
• Adherence to Style Guidelines
• Familiarity with Legal terminology
• Legal/Judicial transcription experience
• Experience with court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription required

The job price point based on the following:

• Proofreader: .50 to $1.00 per page
• Scopist: $1.00 (depo) to $1.75 (Trial & Hearing) per page
