Essential Functions
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive products, and industry developments to inform product positioning and strategy.
Product Positioning and Messaging:
  • Develop clear and compelling product positioning that highlights the unique selling points (USPs) and benefits of our lenses and eyewear products.
  • Create and refine product messaging that resonates with the target audience across various marketing channels.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
  • Plan and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches, ensuring a coordinated effort across marketing, operations, and customer service teams.
  • Define target customer segments and tailor marketing efforts to effectively reach and engage these segments.
Customer Engagement and Retention:
  • Manage the Retention Marketing Specialist, launch effective email/SMS campaigns
  • Implement strategies to engage and retain customers, such as loyalty offers, personalized marketing, and customer feedback initiatives.
  • Work with the customer experience team to analyze customer feedback and behavior to continuously improve the customer experience and product offerings.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with product development, design, and operations teams to ensure products meet market needs and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with customer service and support teams to address customer inquiries and issues related to the products.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product sales, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on product performance and marketing effectiveness.
Public Relations and Media Placement:
  • Working with our external agency, manage PR and media placement efforts to secure product reviews/roundups and other articles from sites with high domain authority
  • Ensure that USPs, brand positioning, and product details are communicated correctly
Brand Consistency and Enhancement:
  • Working with our customer experience team, ensure all product marketing efforts align with the overall brand strategy and maintain brand consistency across all channels.
  • Contribute to brand-building initiatives that enhance the company's reputation and visibility in the market.
Revant offers a competitive compensation package including:
  • Base salary or hourly pay range, $90,000 - $100,000 (dependent upon experience)

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of product marketing experience, preferably in a direct-to-consumer environment.
  • 3 years of experience developing and launching GTM strategies and digital marketing campaigns for an e-commerce company.
  • 2 years experience managing junior team members, with the ability to comfortably conduct effective performance reviews.

Work Environment - Hybrid (Tuesdays and Wednesdays in office)
While working remotely, you will need a quiet space that you can use to allow you to be present and focused during work hours. In addition to two days in the office per week, your position may require you to be physically in the office more often when projects or in person meetings are required.
When working at the office, we operate under Good Manufacturing Practices which may at times require wearing safety glasses and closed toe shoes. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., as occasional lifting and movement of office-related materials may be required.
  • Use of computer and office equipment. Proficiency in using computers, keyboards, and other office equipment is essential.
  • Some office-related tasks may require moving around the office, reaching for files, or accessing equipment, necessitating mobility and flexibility.
  • The ability to handle paperwork, operate office machinery, and perform various administrative tasks requires good manual dexterity.
Travel
One international trip per year of about two weeks is expected.
